Dear Cheti,
Look forward to reading the homework episode.

Dear Julia,
Please do not become a robot.....someone who can take such awesome pictures of Delhi should not become one! Maybe you can post a blog with pictures of plants and flowers and send a link to partner?  Will she be thrilled or what?

Take care,
Priya.

Hi Priya,
I remember you always but am visiting after a long time...*sigh* The clinching lines here are - I must have been moving from one task to another, trying to fit everything in. I thought I stopped to smell the roses every now and then.... - You know what I too have become like that, perhaps always was.....In fact, I remember my partner once saying that I don't wacth the flowers and the plants on my walks....perhaps I too have become a robot I liked the several incidents written about. It also highlights your growing relationship with your daughter, as she is growing in years as well

Kalyanee,
Your grandma must have been Queen of the Kitchen, running it so efficiently. Wow!

But....you're scaring me now. I am not at all like our grandmothers . I promise I have never, ever, planned for tea and dinner right after lunch.....

Priya.

Priyamvada,
Nice glimpse into ur new resolution. Yeah, as kids even we wud sometimes remark to our Grandma dat she can only think abt food prep.....just after eating lunch, starting to think abt wat to make for teatime and then soak the lentils for dinnertime wada prep, etc....LOL Advanced Food Planning!

Usha,
Welcome to my blogsite, and thanks for the kind words. Child is the father of man, indeed - oftentimes, children hold up the mirror to you, and you see yourself in a whole new light.

Bunty,
Good for you that you shirk responsibility once in a while....LOL at "I will be shot if she reads this".  We all need to be irresponsible sometimes!

Cheti,
Absolutely - we need the reminders. What will we do without them? Hope all is well with your kid. Will come by and see if you've posted any Litte Conversations.

Priya.

Hiya Love,
This was such a treat to read-up! Whenever you think aloud like this....I seem to reflect on my own life.
I'm not into talking about food though my kid would have loved that I suppose....She seems to be tipping the scales these days and I would be shot if she read this BTW....
I have not come to a point of Wall-E yet....I do shirk resonsibility every once in a  while and allow my family to recognize my needs too. But those are very rare moments. Most of the time...its the same hermitgiri this side too...ROFL!
Hugs!
Bunty.

Priyamvada...Happy I came here. Let me borrow Wordsworth's lines."...the child is the father of man"   Yes once in a while we need to be jolted out from the mechanic rut we fall into !! Oh  Oh...I must  go and read all your other blogs soon !! You write beautifully.
